On Wednesday, 15 November 2017, the largest interdisciplinary research centre in Greece, N.C.S.R. “Demokritos”, organized a Multiplier Event to disseminate the Erasmus+ Program “Coding and Youth: An Innovative Program in the Digital Era”.
The main purpose of this program was to present the Intellectual Outputs, and retrospect the Summer School of Coding and Robotics for young people aged 13-16. Through this event, students who participated in the Summer School, their parents and family, and other guests had the opportunity to learn about the Project and generally about Coding and Robotics through 5 speeches. The event was attended by thirty-eight (38) people. The speeches took place in the Conference Centre Small Room at N.C.S.R. “Demokritos”, from 17:00 to 21:00 in the evening.
During the event, the speakers talked a little about the Project and then presented its Intellectual Outputs extensively. Developers of the team talked about the e-Learning Platform which was used during the Summer School and generally about Coding in our daily life. Also, there was a retrospect of the Summer School, as well as an explanation of the Syllabus and Framework, presented by the teachers of the team.
Finally, an Exhibition of the Edison Robots, which were used for the Robotics Course of the Summer School, was planned and the attendees were able to have a first-hand experience of a sample of what transpired at the Summer School.
