In the framework of SYNTELESIS project, WiCom Lab completed the procurement of an embroidery machine which will allow researchers to produce prototypes for wearable antennas.
The embroidery machine has been obtained along with the appropriate conductive threads which will allow WiCom Lab to implement prototypes of all-textile embroidered antennas for wearable applications.
Additionally, the publication “Embroidery and Related Manufacturing Techniques for Wearable Antennas: Challenges and Opportunities”, (Electronics 2014, 3(2), 314-338; https://doi.org/10.3390/electronics3020314 , Aris Tsolis, et al.), has already gained more than 100 citations (google scholar).
