Karadima Agathi

Agathi Karadima is currently working within the Software and Knowledge Engineering Laboratory (SKEL) of the Institute of Informatics and Telecommunications (IIT) at the National Center for Scientific Research “Demokritos”.

She holds a BA in History and Archaeology from the Aristotle University, an MA in Classical Archaeology and a PhD in Classics, both from Birkbeck College, University of London.

Her doctoral research examined patterns of votive dedications during the 1st millennium BCE in western Greece. For her work as a post-doctoral researcher with the University of Athens, she will focus on the study of material culture, particularly ceramics, and its contribution to social, political and economic dynamics during the Geometric and Archaic period.
