Anna Gradou graduated from the Department of Informatics and Telecommunications of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She holds a MA in “Art, Virtual Reality and Multiuser Systems” from the french-greek master program that is a partnership between Athens School of Fine Arts and the Department of Art and Technology of Image (ATI) of University of Paris 8 Vincennes-Saint-Denis.

She is a collaborating researcher at the Institute of Informatics and Telecommunications, part of the National Center for Scientific Research “Demokritos”. She is a member of the ARTIFACT (Artificial Intelligence for Culture) research group, and works as a software engineer on interdisciplinary projects that explore the intersection of culture and technology, with a focus on game development and digital interactive art. She is also the lead technical artist of AiTHERION. Her research interests include interactive storytelling, game-based experiences, and the use of real-time technologies in immersive and artistic environments.
