Postdoctoral researcher working on various projects related to artificial intelligence and deep learning. He specializes in representation learning, transfer learning and generative modelling, and has a PhD degree from the University of Peloponnese on the topic of information fusion with deep learning. Has extensive experience as an associate researcher, software developer and project manager in various EU research projects, such as FRISCO, AI4TRUST, DARE, Big Data Europe and REVEAL. Has received several awards and recognitions for his research, such as being a candidate for EETN Best Dissertation Award 2022, winning the “Best Demo — People’s Choice” award in ISWC 2017 for his contribution to the implementation of the H2020 Big Data Europe SC5 pilot, and the Industrial PhD Fellowship from the “Industrial Scholarships Program” of Stavros Niarchos Foundation. He is passionate about developing innovative and impactful solutions for real-world problems using artificial intelligence and deep learning.
