Christiana Armeniakou holds a BA in European Union Studies and a MScECON in European Policy Process. After completion of her academic studies in 2002, she conducted an official in-service training with the Commission of the European Union and subsequently she worked as a research assistant at the European Affairs department of a private international company in Brussels where her duties included analysis of official EU policy documents and provision of tailor made EU intelligence to the company’s business areas. For a period of six years she was employed as a project manager for EU co-funded projects by a Greek Municipality and from April 2012 onwards she is working as a project officer for EU funded Research projects and as an administrative assistant within the Software and Knowledge Engineering Laboratory (SKEL) of the Institute of Informatics and Telecommunications (IIT) at the National Center for Scientific Research ‘DEMOKRITOS’.
