Vassilakis Constantinos

Dr. Constantinos Vassilakis holds a BSc. degree in Informatics and Telecommunications (1995) from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, a M.Sc. degree in Electronics and Computer Engineering (1999) from the Technical University of Crete, and a Ph.D. degree in Informatics and Telecommunications (2008) from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.

Since 1997 he has been working as a Developer and Development Team Leader, Network and Network Services Designer/Engineer, Researcher and Technical Project Manager having participated in several R&D projects funded by the European community, the Greek government and the private sector.

His main interests are in the area of computer networking, programmable networks, energy efficient networks, ad-hoc/peer-to-peer networks, large scale infrastructures and services, mathematical modelling and performance evaluation, applied operations research/data science.

He has published a number of articles in scientific journals and conferences while he has served as a Local Arrangement Committee or Technical Program Committee member for international conferences and as a Reviewer for several international scientific journals and conferences.
