Despoina Oikonomidou is a senior specialist in employee experience, organizational wellbeing, gender equality and EDI strategy. At NCSR Demokritos, she works in the Work Environment Office as Head of Strategic Planning for Employee Experience & Wellbeing, while also leading the Gender Equality & Anti-Discrimination Committee. She is additionally engaged as an HR Action Plan Developer at the Institute of Informatics and Telecommunications. Her expertise lies in the design, implementation and evaluation of EDI and wellbeing initiatives, as well as in shaping organizational policies that foster inclusion, equity and a healthy workplace culture. She has contributed to several European and national projects, with experience in applied research on social and health inequalities, health communication and mental health promotion, as well as project management. She holds a BA in Social Policy (Panteion University), an MSc in Health Promotion and Education (NKUA), and an MSc in IT and Special Education (Democritus University of Thrace).
