Iliana Lytra has studied Ancient Greek Literature and Philosophy and currently holds a PhD
in Philosophy, from the University of Edinburgh. She has been a Philosophy Tutor for several
years (UoE, The Philosophy Foundation, Fettes College), for which she has been awarded 3
times with a ‘Teaching Award Nomination’ for ‘Best Tutor of the Year’ (UoE). She currently
holds a teaching position for the course Theory of Knowledge (at IB Pierce – ACG). Her research
and teaching interests are in the areas of Ancient Philosophy, Philosophy of Education, Ethics
and Emotional Intelligence. She is a researcher for the project “House of Classical Greek
Ideas”, at NCSR Demokritos.
