Sofia Mitsigkola is an Architect Engineer, graduate of the Polytechnic School of The Democritus University of Thrace (2016). During her studies, she actively participated in the “Sindefin” research group as an assistant tutor and assistant researcher, designing proposals for interactive, hybrid, urban gaming experiences. Her Diploma research thesis explores the relation between video game and architectural design, corresponding to her Diploma Thesis, in which she designed and developed “The Artemis Videogame”. Since 2016 she has worked in technical offices in Thessaloniki specializing in architectural design and interior representation with Virtual Reality. Currently, she is a research associate in the Integrated Systems Laboratory, NCSR Demokritos, working on 3d modeling and 3d Projection Mapping.
