IIT fully adopts NCSR Demokritos’s decision to develop and implement a detailed Gender Equality Plan (GEP). which focuses on the following priority areas-axes:
• Gender Equality in Organisational Culture, Leadership & Decision-Making Positions
• Gender Equality in Recruitment, Retention & Career Development
• Gender Mainstreaming in Research, Innovation & Education
• Work-Life Balance
• Preventing and Addressing Discrimination, Gender-Based Violence & Harassment

The Plan was formulated and is implemented under the responsibility of the Centre’s Gender Equality & Anti-Discrimination Committee – GEADC
