META MATERIALS is a 2-year cooperation project between Institute of Informatics & Telecommunications (IIT) of NCSR Demokritos and Meta Materials Inc. (META^® ) which is a developer of high-performance functional materials and intelligent surfaces that are scalable, sustainable, and efficient. The project is 100% funded by META^® and will involve a Post Doctoral Researcher who will work full-time at IIT for the whole duration of the project. The projects technical milestones target the numerical and experimental characterization of META’s NANOWEB® hardware components for 5G/6G applications as well as the design, development and characterization of Reconfigurable Intelligent Surfaces (RISs) for 6G networks and applications.
