The AMINESS project was presented at the workshop entitled «EU Research projects in progress for Maritime Industry», held on Friday December 5th 2014 at Danaos Auditorium (Akti Kondili 14, Piraeus 18545, 1st floor).
During the workshop participants had the opportunity to be familiarized with the trends, the research, the developments, the strategy and the vision of European Union for maritime community.
Ten projects, with more than 40 M€ total budget, will be presented. 100+ partners from almost all EU countries were participating (universities, organizations, ship managers, manufacturers, shipyards, institutes, etc).
Projects covered the full spectrum of maritime interests. They were focused on materials, energy efficiency, inspection enhancements, Human oriented resilient shipping environment, rules compliance, e-maritime , environmental friendliness and EU maritime strategy. SEAHORSE, INCASS, MOSAIC, MESA, EMAR, ECOMPLIANCE, SHOPERA, MARIBRAIN, ECOMARINE and AMINESS are the names of mentioned projects.
From IIT, the Computational Intelligence Laboratory (CIL) and the Software and Knowledge Engineering Laboratory (SKEL) participated.
