The Institute of Informatics & Telecommunications of NCSR Demokritos partner in the Horizon Europe project AI4TRUST participated in the hybrid event ‘Meet the Future of AI, Countering Sophisticated and Advanced Disinformation’ which took place in Brussels on Thursday 29 June 2023. The event explored various facets of Artificial Intelligence and its impact on the disinformation landscape. Research, academia, industry, politics, media, and fact-checking experts discussed relevant issues and challenges related to generative AI and tackling disinformation.
The conference was co-organised by sibling projects AI4RUST, vera.ai, TITAN, and AI4Media, which develop novel Artificial Intelligence techniques to counter online disinformation, in particular in light of the recent advances in generative AI.
