For yet another year, the Institute of Informatics and Telecommunications participated in the Athens Re-Science Festival 2019 which took place from 3 – 7 April at Technopolis in Athens.
On Friday 5 April, IIT Director, Dr. Vangelis Karkaletsis, participated in the panel discussion: AI: nothing will be the same again joining expert panelists in discussing progress in the Artificial Intelligence domain.
In addition on Saturday 6 April Dr. George Giannakopoulos, IIT Researcher at SKEl Lab, participated in the panel discussion entitled The limits of Science.
Finally, the Integrated Systems Laboratory of IIT once more supported the Festival with the wayGoo application helping visitors optimize their experience throughout the festival.
