iASiS Project Coordinator Dr. George Paliouras travelled to Canada to present iASiS in a variety of meetings.
The first stop for Dr. Paliouras was at the Manitoba Center for Health Policy, on Wednesday 2nd of August 2017 (http://bit.ly/2v4k3VI) where he gave a presentation entitled “iASiS: Big Data to Support Precision Medicine and Public Health Policy”. Additionally, he met with coordinators of the BEST DATA project (Beyond Structured Administrative Data).
Next stop on the Canada tour was the University of Alberta, where iASiS was presented at the Dept of Medical Genetics (http://www.medgen.ualberta.ca/) on August 3rd.
Additionally, the Canadian News portal “Greek Vision” hosted a story about iASiS and interviewed Dr. Paliouras about the trip to Canada (http://www.greekvision.ca/2017/08/01/medicine/).
