The BioASQ series of challenges, organized for the sixth year by the SKEL Lab of IIT, pushes the research frontier in biomedical information systems.
The sixth year of the BioASQ series of challenges on biomedical semantic indexing and question answering has been successfully completed on May 2018.
More than 90 systems developed by 16 teams around the world participated in the two tasks of the challenge this year. Preliminary results are available in the BioASQ platform.
The final results of the sixth edition of the BioASQ challenge will be presented in the BoASQ 2018 Workshop, on November 1st, in Brussels, in the context of the EMNLP 2018 conference.
