Georgios Petasis, Researcher at the Institute of Informatics and Telecommunications (IIT), delivered a presentation on AI Media Monitoring and Content Analysis at the FIMI School in Brussels on 14 December 2025, as part of the TITAN and AI4TRUST projects.
During the session, the TITAN browser plugin was showcased along with a live demonstration of the AI4TRUST platform, highlighting how advanced AI technologies can support the detection, analysis and understanding of disinformation across news and social media. The presentation offered participants practical insights into AI-driven content analysis, multimodal monitoring and tools designed to strengthen media literacy and trust in information ecosystems.
The event facilitated constructive discussion on the role of AI in addressing contemporary challenges related to disinformation and media integrity, reinforcing the contribution of the TITAN and AI4TRUST projects to trustworthy digital environments.
